CAUL-CBUA and COPPUL Collaborate to Advance Shared Goals

April 29, 2020

April 29, 2020 – The Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL) and the Council of Atlantic University Libraries / Conseil des bibliothèques universitaires de l’Atlantique (CAUL-CBUA) announced today the signing of a memorandum of understanding that will see both organizations work together to jointly share expertise and knowledge, and build capacity to accomplish shared goals.

This MOU establishes a framework for collaboration between CAUL-CBUA and COPPUL, and provides the opportunity to leverage the resources of both organizations, and our members, in areas such as collections, indigenous knowledge and services, digital and print preservation, and member knowledge and skills development.

COPPUL and CAUL-CBUA will also work together to enhance communications, and create formal mechanisms for effective and strategic engagement, between the two organizations.  If we have learned nothing else over these past few months in our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is that we are strongest when we work together.
