Next CDSN Quarterly Update is on December 13th!

November 30, 2018

The COPPUL Digital Stewardship Network (CDSN) will be holding its next Quarterly Update Call in December, open to all members of the COPPUL community and allied organizations.

When: Thursday, Dec 13th, 11 am Pacific / 1 pm Central

To Join:

  • Or one-tap mobile +8333021536,,755597645#
  • Or dial-in 1-833-302-1536 Meeting ID: 755 597 645

It's been a while since our last call so for this one we're going to focus on the national scene, which is pretty darn busy these days. Topics will include an overview of the Portage Preservation Expert Group's recently-released White paper entitled "Research Data Preservation in Canada", and some of the projects soon to get underway thanks to some CANARIE funding, including a national Dataverse service and a project that will see Duracloud brought to Canada.

I'll also provide some personal reflections on the recent @Risk North 2 forum in Montreal, and an update on what the Canadian Web Archiving Coalition has been up to over the last few months.

Is there anything else you'd like to talk about? Just send me an email at corey@coppul.ca and we can add it to the agenda!

I hope you can join me on December 13th, and I looking forward to the conversation.
