The COPPUL Digital Stewardship Network (CDSN) Community of Practice is currently seeking nominations (including self-nominations) for our Planning Committee.
The CDSN strives to include members who can provide a range of organizational, professional and regional perspectives, with a balance of digital preservation experts and those seeking to expand their knowledge. It welcomes any individuals with a shared interest in ensuring the cultural, intellectual, scientific, and academic record is preserved for current and future generations.
Planning Committee members participate in monthly meetings, organize professional development activities and events such as our digital preservation mixers and upcoming Knowledge Exchange, and work to support resource and knowledge sharing among preservation practitioners within COPPUL member institutions.
The committee currently operates under a rotating chair model, where each member takes turns leading meetings and developing our shared agenda. This can be a great opportunity for folks looking to gain experience with committee organization and leadership in a supportive community environment while also getting to know your fellow digital stewardship practitioners!
