Naming contest: COPPUL DPN

January 31, 2018

The COPPUL Digital Preservation Network (COPPUL DPN) started in 2015 to transform COPPUL’s current digital preservation activities into a set of comprehensive, flexible, scalable, and sustainable services. Thanks to your support, we've been able to do that, and then some!

And now, as we increase our engagement internationally, the 'DPN' moniker is creating some confusion because of the existing Digital Preservation Network (DPN) based in the U.S. They do really great work, and so do we! So as we continue to play a leadership role in the field of digital preservation, the time has come for a new name.

And we'd like your help! You can use this form to give us your ideas for a new name for the COPPUL DPN. Please let us know by February 15th, 2018. Here are some of the ideas so far….

The COPPUL DPN Steering Committee will pick the best name, and will make a donation on the winner's behalf to a charity of their choice.

Thanks folks!
