Thursday, July 3, 2025 @ 12 PM (Pacific) / 1 PM (Mountain) / 2 PM (Central) via Zoom
Do you have a big pile of articles that you mean to read and never seem to get around to reading? What better time than the summer to take a leisurely dip into your digital stewardship to-read pile?
Over the coming months, the CDSN Community of Practice will hold two Summer Reading Clubs on July 3rd and August 28th, 2025. Members will have the chance to share and informally discuss articles and resources related to a theme, to keep up with changes in the field of digital stewardship and improve our daily practice.
Purposely broad for our first session, the theme for our July 3rd gathering will be “Getting Started.” Is there an aspect of preservation you’re beginning to explore? A new tool or policy you’re researching? What’s the oldest or newest article you have bookmarked? However you interpret the theme, we hope to encourage you to “Get Started” on your to-read list this summer!
Feel free to bring an article or resource to share with the group and provide a brief summary of what you learned so we can all learn from each other. Don’t have any articles in your backlog? We’ve got you covered! Check out the Community of Practice Resource Library for a list of articles and themes and keep an eye on our mailing list for more ideas in the coming weeks.
Digital preservationists of all roles, areas, and levels of expertise are welcome to attend. Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone who may be interested.
