COPPUL is currently seeking to fill the following positions:
1. Indigenous Knowledge Coordinator – Closes April 30, 2023
This is a three-year part-time salaried position and may be filled as a contract or secondment opportunity. Depending on experience and/or availability hours will be up to 3 days a week. Benefits and pension are included.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Indigenous Knowledge Coordinator will be responsible for helping to advance COPPUL’s Strategic Directions in the area of Indigenous Knowledge, as well as coordinate the on-going work of COPPUL’s Indigenous Knowledge program.
The Coordinator will collaborate with the COPPUL Indigenous Knowledge Standing Committee to identify and advance strategies that align with COPPUL’s Strategic Directions in the area of Indigenous Knowledge. They will establish tasks and timelines in collaboration with COPPUL members and staff, and contribute to on-going program development, and making recommendations to the ED on establishing goals and initiatives in this area. 2. Digital Stewardship Coordinator – closes May 12, 2023
This is a full-time, three-year position and may be filled as a secondment from a COPPUL member library. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Digital Stewardship Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day development and operation of the COPPUL Digital Stewardship Network (COPPUL DSN). The COPPUL DSN enables individual member institutions to undertake effective digital preservation activities on their campuses by providing expertise and resources to develop local policies, procedures, workflows, and content management. 3. Administrative Assistant – closes April 30, 2023
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with experience in academic libraries to provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director with the day-to-day business of the organization. This is a 15 hour per week contract position reporting to the Executive Director. Tasks include scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, planning meetings, responding to emails, and other related functions. This individual exhibits a high level of professionalism and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with board members, COPPUL members and staff under the direction of the Executive Director.
