COPPUL is pleased to announce that the following individuals will be joining the following COPPUL groups:
Licensing Working Group: Alison Griffin will be joining us from BCIT. Alison is the Liaison Librarian & Collections Coordinator at North Vancouver at BCIT’s North Vancouver campus and brings with her a broad range of experience, having worked for a publisher, academic monograph vendor, and as COPPUL's previous consortium licensing coordinator. COPPUL would like to thank Heather Empey from the University of Northern British Columbia for her dedicated and valuable service to this committee.
Resource Sharing Community: Lori Giles-Smith will be joining this RSC as the co-chair along with Lisa Wanner. Lori is the Associate Librarian and the Coordinator for Access Services with the University of Manitoba. With thanks to CJ de Jong, University of Alberta, for his ceaseless commitment to the COPPUL Resource Sharing Working Group and of late, Community.
Scholarly Communications: Andrea Szwajcer is the Research Services Librarian at the University of Manitoba and currently the chair of the UM Libraries’ Standing Committee on Open Scholarship. She is also presently finishing her membership on CARL’s Open Repository Working Group committee. COPPUL would also like to thank Christie Hurrell, University of Calgary, for her insightful contributions to this group.
