The COPPUL CDSN Peer Services Working Group (PSWG) is seeking nominations for a new member with a strong interest in fostering and participating in a digital preservation community to serve on this active team. The term is for two years beginning September, 2020.
Nominations must be submitted by Directors along with a brief statement of interest.
As part of a larger strategy to increase digital preservation capacity for individual members, the Peer Services Working Group has been tasked with creating formal mechanisms to connect peer organizations at similar or complementary stages of digital preservation readiness. These mechanisms will allow organizations to share experiences, review documentation, and exchange real-world strategies in a structured way, thereby increasing preservation capacity through collaboration.
More information about the the Peer Services Working, including the terms of reference, can be found on the COPPUL website at https://coppul.ca/digital-preservation/steering-committee. The present chair is Mimi Lam, University of British Columbia.
