Survey

The following surveys were conducted by the SCWG to gain a better understanding of the scholarly communications landscape in Western Canada and inform COPPUL support for related activities and initiatives.

Issue Briefs

Each year between 2018-2020, the SCWG compiled short reports on current issues in scholarly communications. Each “brief” included an overview of what is happening locally and elsewhere, as well as recommendations and considerations.

Reports to COPPUL Directors

Bi-annually the SCWG submits reports to COPPUL Directors on the group’s activities.

Open Access Week Webinars (discontinued)

From 2012-2016 the COPPUL Board granted funding to support Open Access Week speaker events at member institutions. SCWG selected two proposals each year who received funding to cover the cost of webcasting and archiving the speakers’ presentations. These webinars are available at the following links:
